EVERY ONE has asked himself the great question of antiquity as of the modern world: What is the summum bonum-the supreme good? You have life before you. Once only you can live it. What is the noblest object of desire, the supreme gift to covet?

Methuselah was 187 when Lamech was born; Lamech was 182 when Noah was born: Noah was 600 when the flood came: If you add the 187, 182, 600 you get 969. Methuselah's name meant, when I die, the flood will came. (He lived 969 years.) Noah died the year Abraham was born, and Shem was 98 years old when he entered the Ark. And Shem lived 600 years and died when Abraham was 150 years old, but the Bible never says the they met.
